New Patient Registration

Update - as with most practices across the city, we are restricting new patient registrations during the Covid-19 outbreak.  We will continue to register new babies, returners to the family home and health board assignments.

When you come to the practice you will be given forms away to complete and will be given a time and date to come back to complete the registration process.  Please note due to demand we may temporarily suspend registrations to prevent the diary from filling up too many weeks into the future.

You will be asked to complete registration and lifestyle questionnaires and you will be invited to attend a new patient registration appointment with one of our practice nurses.

Patients are registered with the Practice, not an individual GP. If you prefer a particular type of doctor (e.g. male or female) we will do our best to respect your choice, however specific doctors may not be immediately available.

If you move out of the practice area you will need to register with a new practice as soon as you move.

Practice Area

the practice area is bounded by the River Forth to the north, Portobello Road to the east, Newhaven Road, to the west and London Road to the south.

Guide to GP Services

The Royal College of General Practitioners has produced a useful guide for patients about the services on offer at GP Surgeries and how to access them.  You can download the guide below.
